We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join a well-respected school in Thornton-Cleveleys. This is a vital role in ensuring the school provides a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine cleaning duties throughout the school premises.
• Open and lock the school building each day.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas.
• Prioritise cleaning tasks effectively to ensure all duties are completed on time.
• Follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas are clean, safe, and well organised.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school or similar environment.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Holds a valid Enhanced DBS certificate (or is willing to obtain one, if applicable).
• Reliable, proactive, and takes pride in delivering high standards of work.
