School Cleaner – Newbury Park

Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and dedicated School Cleaner to join a well-respected school in Newbury Park on a temporary ongoing cover basis.

This is an important role in helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and enjoy working as part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine cleaning duties throughout the school premises.
• Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Organise and prioritise cleaning tasks to ensure all duties are completed within the allocated time.
• Follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure all areas are left clean, tidy and safe.
• Take responsibility for locking the school building at the end of each shift.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school or similar environment.
• A good understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Holds a valid Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Reliable, hardworking and proactive, with a strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Available to start immediately.
