World Book Day: TEEM’s favourite books

In honour of UNESCO’s World Book Day “Changing lives through a love of books and reading”, we asked the TEEM what their favourite books are:

Josh said “War Horse is my favourite book, it formed my obsession for horses! As a child I enjoyed anything by Roald Dahl, particularly The Witches. I recently read Evergreen by Lydia Millen which was very good.”

Michelle said “Little Women is my absolute favourite book; I’ve read it over and over again and I’m planning to read it again this year. I recently read Wish You Were Here by Jodi Picoult, and last year I very much enjoyed Lessons in Chemistry, loaned to me by Claire.”

Claire said “I love reading and usually have 2 or 3 books  on the go, but my all-time favourite is Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens!”

Gareth said “I’m not really a book person, as a child and into adulthood I’ve always preferred comics rather than books. I’m a big fan of the Marvel comics.”

Mark said “My favourite book is Shut Up and Move On by Paul McGee. When I was younger, I enjoyed the Harry Potter books; Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is my favourite. I read The Honeymoon by Kate Grey last summer; highly recommend!”

So, there you have it; our World Book Day favourite, current and recent reads!
