📍 Location: Killingbeck & Seacroft, Leeds
💰 Salary: £28,142 – £31,022 per annum
🕒 Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Teem Recruitment is seeking a dependable and proactive Senior Caretaker to join a vibrant and well-regarded school in the Killingbeck & Seacroft area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong practical skills and leadership qualities to take on a key role in maintaining and enhancing the school’s facilities.

Key Responsibilities

As Senior School Caretaker, you will support the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of the school site. Your duties will include:

• Acting as deputy to the Site Manager and supervising site staff.
• Allocating tasks and monitoring performance across the site team.
• Managing external contractors and ensuring health & safety compliance.
• Supporting specialist site services and contributing to the smooth operation of the school.

• Skilled in DIY, maintenance, and general repairs.
• Organised, resourceful, and able to work independently.
• A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills.
• Flexible, reliable, and self-motivated with a positive approach.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at height.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting a safe school environment.

Essential Requirements

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
