Working Hours: Mondays to Thursdays 7:00–10:00, Fridays 7:00–11:00 (16 hours/week)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and dependable School Caretaker to join a vibrant school community in West Kensington. This hands-on role is essential to the smooth running of the school, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the security and overall upkeep of the school premises.
  • Perform minor repairs, general maintenance, and DIY tasks.
  • Ensure all areas of the site are clean, safe, and fully operational.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and school staff.
  • Support school events with setup and logistical assistance.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance checks and compliance documentation.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience as a School Caretaker or Site Manager.
  • Strong practical skills in maintenance and DIY.
  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety and compliance procedures (e.g., Fire Safety, Legionella).
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
