Michelle McGuffog, Recruitment Administrator, joined TEEM Recruitment at the end of 2022

Michelle has worked in Admin roles throughout her career, most recently at a local engineering company as a Marketing Coordinator. She tells us her role at TEEM allows her to combine her Admin skills with her Marketing skills, giving her the best of both worlds! 

Providing Admin support to the team, we asked Michelle what her favourite part of the job is,she said “my role is to provide Admin support to my colleagues. It is effectively “behind the scenes”, which means I get to see the full journey of a role or candidate; from receiving the job listing right through to having a candidate started and setting them up for payroll.”

When Michelle isn’t in the office she spends time with her husband and daughters. They enjoy long walks making the most of the Lake District being on the doorstep. Michelle enjoys unwinding with a good film or TV series, she describes trashy TV as her guilty pleasure.

Michelle and her family like to take trips away and have days out around the UK. Most recently they spent a weekend in Manchester, and are looking forward to upcoming trips to London and York, and a family holiday in Lanzarote.

York in the UK, anywhere hot for a holiday!

I love Italian food and chocolate; whenever I see a Hotel Chocolat I cannot refuse a little treat!

Most annoying habit: 

My toxic trait is not asking for help with jobs around the house and then complaining no one is helping me!
